About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and customer-focused Sales Assistants to join our team in the beauty and cosmetics retail sector at various locations across Malta.
The ideal candidates have an interest in beauty products, skincare, cosmetics, and fragrances, along with a passion for helping customers find products that suit their needs. You will provide personalised customer service, share product knowledge, and contribute to creating a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional assistance.
- Help customers select suitable skincare, makeup, haircare, and beauty products.
- Provide information about product features, ingredients, usage, and benefits.
- Recommend products based on customer preferences and individual needs.
- Maintain good knowledge of product ranges, new arrivals, and promotional offers.
- Process sales transactions and handle payments accurately.
- Replenish shelves and ensure products are attractively displayed.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of the store.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with stock checks and deliveries.
- Inform customers about promotions, special offers, and loyalty programmes.
- Follow store procedures and hygiene standards when handling beauty products and testers.
- Work with colleagues to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage but not essential.
- A genuine interest in beauty, skincare, cosmetics, and fragrances.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-oriented attitude.
- Ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn about new products, brands, and beauty trends.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, where required.
- Good command of English.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in beauty, cosmetics, skincare, or fragrance retail.
- Knowledge of beauty brands and cosmetic products.
- Experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Training or qualifications in beauty therapy or makeup artistry.
- Additional language skills.
